Movie Discussion: Little Red Riding Hood

Catherine Hardwicke has reached teen audiences before, with films such as Thirteen and, erm, Twilight, so she seems a likely choice to direct the teen-angst/horror take on “Little Red Riding Hood.” Reinterpreting the old tale as a werewolf story also has something to recommend it.

The reviews have been overwhelmingly negative, with Roger Ebert suggesting the script would work best performed by Monty Python and Digital Trend’s Ryan Fleming proclaiming it the “worst movie of the year.”

“For the final time: Wheels stop”

Space Shuttle Discovery, the oldest and most experienced shuttle in the fleet has come home, one final time.

Endeavor and Atlantis are still scheduled for their own missions, but Discovery marks the beginning of the end for a 30-year era at NASA.
