Also, some words about the Secret Invasion coverage: I still need to catch up on past reviews, but won’t be able to do as many background reviews as I’d hoped, do to a suddenly hospitalized coworker. In any event, I’ll review everything that has the “Secret Invasion” banner on its cover (such as Avengers: The Initiative Annual #1, Avengers: Illuminati #1-5 and Mighty Avengers #7, all of which are overdue for review) as well as anything directly referred to by those issues, after the reference is made. (ie. I’ll make time for the background reviews only after I know the background is definitely relevant.)

Lohan, Murphy clean up at Razzies
The night before the Oscars are awarded, the Razzies were given, as per tradition. The complete list of “winners” is here. Lindsay Lohan’s “I Know Who Killed Me,” Eddie Murphy’s “Norbit” and the Murphy-less sequel to a Murphy movie “Daddy Day Camp” came home with everything.

Weekend Review: Planet of the Dinosaurs
This 1978 production, made in the wake of Star Wars‘ success, hasn’t much to do with our recent post-Cloverfield reviews of Kaiju, but it does feature some nifty dinosaurs and the second-ever appearance of the rhedosaurus, the monster which arguably inspired a genre.
How the MST3K gang missed this one I do not know.
Supernatural Discussion – “Jus In Bello”
I was going to apologize for the late “Smallville” review, but it turns out tonight is a “Supernatural” double header instead of the usual “Smallville” lead in. I’m betting that’s actually going to be a more enjoyable night.
Star Trek XI now delayed until May 2009.
joe__gee writes, For whatever reason, writer’s strike, or Paramount deciding this movie has a chance of being a Big Summer Film, according the film’s web site it is now due to be released in May of 2009. Other web sites also reporting the change include Ace Showbiz, The Baltimore Sun, and Trek Movie.com.
BSG to begin final season in April
