The rumours of Bryan Cranston as Lex Luthor can be officially declared dead. Although they floated around online, since Cranston is a personal friend of Ben Affleck, I never saw them coming from a reputable source. Variety has just announced the actual casting: Jesse Eisenberg is Lex Luthor, and Jeremy Irons is Alfred Pennyworth.
I … am not sure how to feel about either of those.
While both are OK, I’m not sure either are right. But then again, they haven’t made any choices yet for this cast that I really agree with. With the exception of Supes, but I know I am one of few who liked MoS.
So they’re going with Eisenberg instead of Heisenberg?
I’m adopting a serious “wait and see” about this film.
I’ll see it in theatres, but probably not opening night, as an untitled Marvel movie opens on the same day and I have more faith in Marvel films at the moment.
