I also had a few nits on the first 10 minutes. The engine would not still be running - and would be deafening if it were, there's no fuel in the tail section (or that's the world's smallest wing for a large commercial jet), and for God's sake if you're trying to remove somebody from under a heavy object in loose sand you dig out the sand from under him instead of trying to lift the object! Mr. Expert should have know that.

Nevertheless, despite the total unbelievability of the premise, I liked the show. I'm amused that people in the other thread talking about this think it's slow and people here think it's too fast. I'm kinda in the slow camp myself, but it gives them time to actually develop a story and the characters, and it wasn't so slow that I was bored by any means. They did suspense very well... Though, me? If there's something big and hungry out there, I'm finding the darkest corner of that plane and hunkering down, not trying to out run something very likely to be a heck of a lot faster than me.

And if the front of the airplane fell off, it would *not* be in front of the rest of the plane --- it would be in the ocean somewhere.

Blair Witch Project meets Survivor. Seems silly and impossible to sustain tension. Jerky camera action will never take the place of character development. I got a bad feeling about this one, and not just from "the bear".
