I'd be shocked if anyone was still watching this. That was pathetic.
The sad thing is that this show could have been great - they could have really explored how far someone would have to go to keep something like this from the public, and how the civil liberties of the people take second place. Instead we get dumb political infighting between 'Homeland Security' and 'Threshold':
"We can't give you your infected person who could kill us all because, as Homeland Security, we feel we need him more to fight the terrorists." "Well, the aliens could get us, but okay. We do definitely want him when you're done." "We'll see." Five minutes later: "Oh, sorry, he escaped as we didn't listen to your advice." "That's alright, we'll find him. No hard feelings."
I'm done with this. I'll watch it if I have nothing better to do, but I'm pretty sure I can find something to occupy that hour of my night.
Four words: Brannon Braga, Brent Spiner. Those last two are harder for me; I really like Spiner as an actor. But really, we're talking about the creative genuises behind Star Trek Nemesis, aka Star Trek: How to Kill a Franchise. I won't even get started on Enterprise. In this company, I doubt there's any need to.
Sure, there was a third accomplice, but it doesn't look like he's currently doing anything besides writing the alleged prequel movie. Hopefully Paramount has more sense than that, and is just giving him busy work that will never be filmed. Keep the guy out of trouble.
On another note entirely, when I saw the title of this post, I somehow read the episode title as "Shlock".
I gave up after the last episode. This is a terrible show that should be avoided by any means. They took an interesting premise and muddled it with political bias and shoestring plots.
Let's please send a message to the studios that pandering to the lowest common denominator of sci-fi fans will not get them anywhere.

Unfortunately, TV executives - who tend to hate scifi anyway because the budgets of such shows are typically in a higher bracket - will only get this message: "Viewers don't like science fiction."
On topic, I can't disagree that this show is a miss. The only reason I'm not dropping it from my Tivo schedule is that there's nothing else playing in that time slot that interests me. It took me two weeks before I watched the second episode and it'll probably remain only something to turn on when my attention is elsewhere...like when I'm playing a game on the DS. :)
