For a different look at The
Shining, head on over to the PS260 blog
and take a look at the September 29, 2005 entry. I
hold this up as a shining example of why trailers are
a worse indicator of the nature and quality of a movie
than looking at the cast and crew list. Also
available are new versions of
West Side Story and Titanic, both of
which now appear to be genre films.
There are a couple on the site. Obviously there's "Shining", but he also did "West Side Story". As one of the links says, this proves that a trailer can show NOTHING about what a movie is like.
