“The Shining” reinterpreted in a trailer

For a different look at href="http://www.bureau42.com/view/2206">The
Shining, head on over to href="http://ps260.blogspot.com/">the PS260 blog
and take a look at the September 29, 2005 entry. I
hold this up as a shining example of why trailers are
a worse indicator of the nature and quality of a movie
than looking at the cast and crew list. Also
available are new versions of
West Side Story and Titanic, both of
which now appear to be genre films.

    Oh, crap
That’s just the funniest damn thing I’ve seen since Movies in 30 seconds, re-enacted by bunnies. Very nice!

    Genius. Absolute Genius.
There are a couple on the site. Obviously there’s “Shining”, but he also did “West Side Story”. As one of the links says, this proves that a trailer can show NOTHING about what a movie is like.
