Weekly Comics Discussion - Wednesday, November 9, 2005
posted November 9 2005, 5:32 am by fiziko

Category: Comics This week's shipping list has only one item I'll be taking home, namely Pulse #12. (Incidentally, Brian Michael Bendis has announced that issue #14 will be his last on the title. No word on who will replace him, or even if the series will continue.) Other noteworthy items include 100 Bullets #66, the first issue of a Danger Girl miniseries, DMZ #1, Infinite Crisis #2, JMS' Book of Lost Souls #2, Captiain Universe Daredevil, Decimation: House of M: The Day After, Drax the Destroyer #3 (a series which is getting great reviews but less than spectacular sales), Exiles #72, the Fantastic Four Wedding Special, Friendly Neighbourhood Spider-Man #2 (continuing "The Other"), and New Excalibur #1.

Infinite Crisis

Judging from the hits for Infinite Crisis #1, a number of Bureauites have an interest in this comic. I intend to do the next review of 2 and 3. Does this work, or should I go issue by issue for this particular series?

(Despite the hits, there were relatively few comments, so I'm thinking the original plan is good).

Yeah, it sounds pretty lame, but do we have a good collective name for people who post here?

Bureaucrats. Obviously.
Obvious, but what label could be more offensive?

I must confess some affection for calling users here 'drawers', inasmuch as a bureau is also a dresser. Might be a bit obtuse, though.
