Category: Science 2003 UB 313 received the name "Eris" today. The classical goddess of discord, "Eris" suits this orbital object, which forced the debate over what constitutes a planet.

On that same subject, Pluto is now just a number. It's official designation is asteroid number 134340.

The names still hold, but as asteroid-like objects they also receive a numerical designation.
