This episode was astounding, and shows what this show can do when it focuses on an individual story - I hope that other characters get exploratory episodes like this.

Everyone's acting was great, but Jack and Haydn as Bennet and Claire were astounding, and I hope we see some kind of award in both their futures for this. I even cried during the last scene.

The whole scene with HRG and Claude on the bridge seemed really odd. It was like the first shot was a misfire and the second a poorly faked miss.

Also, with a riveting story otherwise, does anyone else have trouble with the ignored consequences of radiation? Though Claire can heal the burns, wouldn't she still be highly radioactive, as would HRG and Parkman?

I certainly don't understand why the company would be so lazy with Mr. Bennet though.

This is complete speculation, but I think that Nathan's opposition to Peter's use of his powers is just like HRG's attempt to protect Claire: I think he's in on the whole thing with The Company. I suspect, but am less sure about, that Nathan and Peter's dad isn't really dead, but hiding. He may even *be* Linderman, though I think that's a real stretch.

It's too bad the preview for next week gave away a spoiler (Simone not really dying)...
