The Sarah Connor Chronicles: A River Runs Thru It
posted March 6 2007, 11:49 am by theangrymob

Category: TV Series rickyjames writes, Your favorite crazy little sister and mine, Summer Glau of Firefly and Serenity, will be playing a Terminator in the upcoming Fox series "The Sarah Connor Chronicles". Rumor has it she will be a "protective" Terminator named Cameron (as in James) watching over series stars Thomas Dekker (Heroes) and Lena Headey (300).

I'd hold out hope _IF_ James Cameron were involved. But he isn't. Add to that it's put on by FOX (the network that hamstrung Firefly then canceled it) and it's lookin' pertty grim.

All in all, (if it gets aired) I'll probably watch the first two eppisodes with a "This MIGHT not suck" attitude and see what happens.

Wacky Terminator Fun!

This will be great.

Each episode Sarah Connor, her son John, and their good terminator will travel to a new town and find a wrong that needs righting, all the while running from the relentless reporter and his terminator who are trying to expose the Connors.
When the bad guys make John very mad he will call his good terminator to make lots of scary terminator faces and throw the bad guys through the air where they will land unharmed but embarrassed into changing their ways.

Can't wait!

... so you're saying it's a remake of the A-Team?

Uh, No.

Since when was there a reporter in A-team? And they certainly didn't have to get mad.

He was saying it will be a remake of the Incredible Hulk.

- Geez. Kids these days...

I was saying it will be a remake of every formula 70s show that seemed to follow the same basic plot.

But yes, I specifically had the Hulk in mind...

And Summer Glau is still playing a character that would fail a psych eval.

Yep, another "unusual" young girl with superpowers. Are you *sure* Whedon's not involved in this? ;-)
