I'm happy, but...

I feel a bit cheated. It seems like the writers went OUT of their way to avoid any obvious solution and just make a big big mess so they can stretch the storyline from one episode over the whole 10.

I hope that doesn't happen.

There were some good moments, though.

It will stretch more than that...

If you read any of the interviews with the creators, you'll hear about 2 movies that are already OK'd for production after the series ends.

Here's the thing....

The first movie's short plot description is:
"The resolution of the Ori plotline"

So they obviously have no intention of resolving anything before the end of the series... They are going to do that in the first of two movies.

Sucks, don't it?

Eh, guess it was OK.

I dislike 'all powerful enemies' theme that they have going with the Ori.

I'm hoping it'll go out nicely and maybe end with them just going on to the next thing to do instead of 'ending' it. Leaving it open for later stuff. I've enjoyed this show over the years and really thought they had something cool going with the cast changes. I thought it added some new blood to the show and was warming things up.

I've seen the rest of the episodes, so I can reassure you that they only have 2 more episodes with the 'all powerful Ori' theme, and then 2 more really good episodes with the Ori, which leave the story open for a movie wrapup. The rest of the episodes are mostly character stuff for the SG1 team, and all of those episodes are excellent (the last one would have been amazing if they had been able to get RDA to appear).

Speaking of RDA, is it me or is he not looking too healthy on Atlantis? Kinda pasty and puffy. Almost like he's taking some kind of systemic steroid(not to be confused witn anabolic steroids).
