I suppose this is as good a place as any to mention that I'm redesigning the approach to the "History of the Marvel Universe" series (begun here) to more closely coincide with the movie releases. A "Silver Surfer" chapter will go up before FF2 comes to home video, a "Spider-Man" chapter will go up before SM3 comes to home video, and "Hulk" and "Iron Man" chapters will go up before those movies hit the big screen next year. If GIT Corp keeps the DVD-ROM releases coming with enough lead time to read them before the movies, I'll keep the series going. I'll also double back and fill in "Uncanny X-Men," "Ghost Rider" and "Daredevil" chapters when I have time. I also aim to have "Captain America" and "Thor" chapters ready for their movies in 2009.
It looks awesome. If the movie is half as good as the trailer, it will be a runaway success. I especially dug the music when you first see the Mark I armor. Also, the scenes at the end with the (I think it is) Mark III armor. That just looked so freaking good it will be worth the price of admission alone if the rest of the movie sucks, which I don't believe will be the case based on the trailer. Robert Downey Jr. really appears to be doing a great job as Tony Stark. I really liked the interaction he had with the soldiers.
