It would have been great if they showed us Sylar telling Candice he would be getting his powers back sooner than she thinks END OF SCENE instead of the plodding scene they wrote that leaves nothing to the imagination.

Also, with the other new surprise guest actor, I can't wait for Leonard Nimoy to appear as "Sylar in the future"...

I was also operating under the assumption that Sylar removed the brains to figure out how to absorb their power. However, after last night's events and thinking back to his flashback episode, I think that Sylar is able to see into their brain and rewire his accordingly. He has been removing the brains to ensure no one else can do the same. No one else that might evolve his power would then be able to reap powers the same way.
