Ladies and gentlemen, I am not making any sense! None of this makes sense! And so you have to remember, when you're in that jury room deliberatin' and conjugatin' the Emancipation Proclamation, does it make sense? No! Ladies and gentlemen of this supposed jury, it does NOT MAKE SENSE! If Doomsday vists Smallville, you must acquit! The defense rests.

Knowing when to quit

It appears that Rosenbaum knows when to quit and the producers of the show don't.

Actually they do... what they don't know is how to wrap up a story.

Anti-Renewal Campaign

I just read some of the comments on the digg posting of this story and a though occurred to me.

Maybe this time the fans of the show should have a campaign to try and get this show dropped instead of renewed.... it appears that almost no one want this show to go on anymore.

I stopped watching, that's a start. But I like the way you're thinking.

Not Sure...

If Lana dies and stays dead, I'll watch it for sure.

That sounds plausible, given the fact that they're bringing in a new potential love interest.

If she isn't dead, or has a chance of returning, I just might have to stop.

One more reason not to watch it

I quit watching over a year ago, and this means there's even less reason to come back...

Same here, and I sold off my boxsets last week for the first four seasons - I'm through and out.

I almost wish this had been a Fox show so we could have dreamt about what might have been instead of seeing what was.
