It was far better than we expected it to be, too. I likened it to those "Virtual Reality" amusement park rides that have gotten so popular lately (especially the scene in the mine cars). The story was pure escapist fluff, but it was still fun to be able to sit down and turn off the brain for awhile and just be a little kid again. I recommend it!
Ditto. There was some really wonky physics, etc., in there. Still, it wasn't trying to take itself seriously as far as I can tell. And, it was great fun to watch.
I saw it in digital 3-D, and it was a fun movie--although I had to do a good amount of suspension of disbelief. If it wasn't for the 3-D, I probably wouldn't recommend it.
It's a good show for kids, and Brendan Fraser really carries the movie.
