No way. Absolutely not. How can they possibly do better than the original Rocky Horror? I'll boycott the movie on principle.
It's not even a question of "better"; how can they possibly get the point? I haven't actually seen it myself, but I'm familiar with the phenomenon, and the cheese, surreality, and sheer oddness are major factors in its popularity. But it's too big a phenomenon to be remade easily; would they be remaking the original stage play? the movie, as a spoof of 70s sci-fi and horror? the movie as its own entity? Will they even think it that far through?
