All in all, a pretty good first episode. Oh... anyone else find Samantha Carter with a British accent unbelievably hot?

Well, I guess I'll take a break from what seems to be my pattern of late of poo-poo'ing things to drop a note for Sanctuary.

Of all the series pilots I can remember, this was definitely among the best of them. Sure there's actually a tangable shark-tank there to allow them to jump it at a moments notice... but they haven't yet.

Most of the acting was better than an average pilot, most of the special affects were within the bounds of a typical person's suspension-of-disbelief borders, and most of the writing and characterization held my interest. - Not ALL, but most.

I'll watch the next few episodes NOT because I am giving a new SF series a change to get it's legs under it, but because I was entertained and interested in the product they have already produced.
