RPGamer.com isn't the only site to report these, but it's the first site I noticed. In
one announcement, we've heard that Squaresoft and Enix will be merging from now until April 1, 2003. In
a second announcement, we've learned that the 16-bit revamps of Final Fantasy 1 and Final Fantasy 2 will be available in North America next spring. This will be FF2's first English-language release. (The SNES game marketed as Final Fantasy 2 was actually number 4, and was released in Final Fantasy Chronicles. Review forthcoming.)
