There’s a proper trailer for The Marvels, and I’m still the biggest Kamala Khan fanboy.

“Nature” on 40 years of Hitchhiker’s
You didn’t think we could let the 40th anniversary of The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy pass without at least a little comment, did you? Fortunately, Nature does a much better job of summarizing its (and Douglas Adams’) impact on society than I could.

New Star Trek TV series coming (but not on your TV)
According to startrek.com, a new Star Trek episodic series is coming to, well, not-TV in early 2017. Man, I hope it doesn’t get all grimdark and serious like so many of the media remakes of the last few years.
Stargate to be rebooted
Deadline is reporting that MGM plans to reboot the Stargate franchise with a trilogy of movies. No details yet, obviously. I’d rather get some sort of conclusion to Stargate Universe, but maybe that’s just me.
Star Wars Episode VII Release Date Scheduled
According to starwars.com, Episode VII is now scheduled to be released on December 18, 2015. Just two more years of idle speculation to go…
Site rollback to yesterday afternoon
Due to my own cartoonish ham-handed-ness in accidentally erasing the site’s content directory and database, I’ve had to restore the site from a backup taken yesterday. Any comments posted since then are probably lost forever, and will be replaced by comments on this post about how silly David is for doing such a thing.
