So, despite the DVD releases coming out on Fat Tuesday, the picks this week are rather lean. There are a few gems in there though.
This week we have the Super Bowl in the US, and the start of the Olympic games. So, while this week isn’t exactly lean, it’s not as heavy as last week, in my opinion.
We told you things would pick up in February.
The January doldrums are almost over.
January continues. As usual for the month, there’s one or two decent items this week, but nothing spectacular.
There’s not a lot of completely new product available this week, but there is an absolute flood of low-cost two season packs. We’ve only drawn attention to the most notable ones, but there are more that you can find, mostly distributed by Universal.
It’s the first week after Christmas. Whether you celebrate the holiday or not, you’ve got to recognize that virtually anything would have sold better had it been released a couple of weeks back than if it’s released now. There are a couple of odds and ends worth checking out between now and Valentine’s Day, but not a lot.
